Bo Burnham

As a teenager, Bo Burnham posted songs on YouTube. His films are about growing up with a screen in front of you. Eighth Grade follows thirteen-year-old Kayla through her last week of middle school before high school. He made Inside alone in one room during the COVID-19 lockdown, writing, shooting and performing a comedy special while trying to stay sane. He also directed Chris Rock's Tamborine.
