Damien Leone

Art the Clown never says a word, and in Terrifier he spends Halloween night working through three young women and everyone who gets between him and them. Leone makes these cheaply, with prosthetics and stage blood doing what other films would render digitally, and the series has its reputation because of exactly how far each scene goes. Terrifier 2 brings Art back to hunt a teenage girl and her younger brother; Terrifier 3 comes for the two of them again at Christmas. You are being dared, and the film has a fair idea how long you will hold out.
