Hand was the supervising director of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the first feature-length animated film from Disney, in which a girl hides from her jealous stepmother in the cottage of seven dwarfs. He oversaw work on Fantasia, which sets classical music to animation, and supervised Bambi, about a fawn growing up in the forest.
