Black Dynamite
dir. Scott Sanders · 2009
The struggle against systemic oppression and the fight for justice are essential to reclaiming one's identity and dignity.
Black Dynamite, a former CIA agent turned vigilante, takes on a drug lord who has corrupted his community. The film bursts with absurd humor and exaggerated action, creating a wild ride that satirizes both the blaxploitation genre and societal issues.
This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House..
