Bright Future
dir. Kiyoshi Kurosawa · 2003
Life is a struggle between our inner turmoil and the connections we form with others.
"Bright Future" seamlessly intertwines the surreal with the mundane, exploring the deep-seated isolation of friendship amidst a backdrop of industrial monotony. This haunting film invites viewers to confront the complexities of human emotion through the lens of an unusual pet and the throes of unbridled rage.
Buddies working at an oshibori factory bond over an uncontrollable rage neither can control, as well as a strange jellyfish they keep as a pet.
