Being alive means confronting the haunting memories of the past while navigating the complexities of love and desire.
"Crimson Peak" invites viewers into a haunting world where love intertwines with horror amidst a decaying mansion, exploring the ghosts of the past that linger in both the physical and emotional realms. Guillermo del Toro crafts a lush, gothic romance that challenges the boundaries of artistic obsession and the depths of human desire.
In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds… and remembers.
