Kill, Baby... Kill!

dir. Mario Bava · 1966

The struggle between life and death reveals the deep scars of unresolved grief and the haunting consequences of vengeance.

A doctor arrives in a remote village to investigate a mysterious death, only to find himself ensnared in a web of supernatural vengeance. As he uncovers the tragic history of a young girl and her vengeful mother, the oppressive atmosphere thickens, drawing viewers into a chilling confrontation with grief and retribution. Watching it is like stepping into a dark fairy tale where the past refuses to stay buried.

Dr. Eswai is called by Inspector Kruger to a small village to perform an autopsy on a woman who died under suspicious circumstances. Despite help from the village witch Ruth, Kruger is killed, and it is revealed that the dead woman and other villagers were killed by the ghost of Melissa, a young girl who, fed by the hatred of her grieving mother, Baroness Graps, exacted her revenge on them. With local nurse Monica, Dr. Eswai is lured into a fateful confrontation at the Villa Graps.
