Perpetrator
dir. Jennifer Reeder · 2023
Being alive often requires confronting hidden dangers and embracing one's inner strength to navigate a world filled with uncertainty.
"Perpetrator" delves into the dark alleys of adolescence, where a family curse intertwines with the ferocity of teenage rebellion, crafting a hauntingly transformative coming-of-age tale that defies genre boundaries.
Jonny Baptiste is a reckless teen sent to live with her estranged Aunt Hildie. On the event of her eighteenth birthday, she experiences a radical metamorphosis: a family spell that redefines her called Forevering. When several teen girls go missing at her new school, a mythically feral Jonny goes after the Perpetrator.
