The Golem
dir. Doron Paz, Yoav Paz · 2018
In the struggle for survival, the desire to protect loved ones can lead to unintended consequences that challenge our understanding of good and evil.
"The Golem" masterfully intertwines folklore and horror, exploring the dark consequences of protection and the monstrous potential within us all. This chilling tale invites viewers to confront the thin line between salvation and destruction in a world besieged by fear.
A re-imagining of the old mystical folklore that follows a woman and a tight-knit Jewish community that is besieged by foreign invaders. She conjures a dangerous creature to protect them but it may be more evil than she ever imagined.
