Winter Light
dir. Ingmar Bergman · 1963
The struggle to find meaning in life often leads to isolation and a deep questioning of faith and connection.
"Winter Light" embodies the haunting silence of existential crisis, where a pastor's spiritual failings collide with the stark beauty of the Swedish landscape, inviting viewers to grapple with faith, despair, and human connection.
A Swedish pastor fails a loving woman, a suicidal fisherman and God.
