Perfect Days
dir. Wim Wenders · 2023
Finding joy in the simplicity of everyday life can lead to a deeper understanding of oneself and the world.
"Perfect Days" invites viewers into the quiet yet profound life of a Tokyo toilet cleaner who finds beauty in the smallest moments, transforming the mundane into the extraordinary. This meditative journey through solitude and fleeting encounters resonates deeply with those who appreciate the art of living.
Hirayama is content with his life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine, he cherishes music on cassette tapes, books, and taking photos of trees. Through unexpected encounters, he reflects on finding beauty in the world.
