something wearing a person

Three aliens take possession of host bodies and assume human form in Before We Vanish, as the advance party of an invasion nobody has noticed starting. The research station in The Thing works out that what killed the Norwegians assimilates any living thing it touches, so any one of the men in the hut could already be it. The danger is indoors and familiar, wearing the faces you would go to for help, and you watch every ordinary conversation for the moment somebody gets it slightly wrong.
