David Maysles recorded the sound while his brother Albert held the camera, and together they made Salesman, following four door-to-door Bible salesmen and their bitter rivalry. Grey Gardens visits Big Edie and Little Edie Beale, mother and daughter, in their crumbling house in East Hampton. The outtakes became The Beales of Grey Gardens.
