Cold War
dir. Paweł Pawlikowski · 2018
Love can be both a profound connection and a source of deep conflict, often shaped by external circumstances beyond our control.
A couple meets in a smoky jazz club, their eyes locking amidst the chaos of a politically charged era. As they navigate their tumultuous relationship across borders and time, the film immerses you in a world where love is both a refuge and a source of pain.
A passionate love story between two people of different backgrounds and temperaments, who are fatefully mismatched and yet condemned to each other. Set against the background of the Cold War in the 1950s in Poland, Berlin, Yugoslavia and Paris, the film depicts an impossible love story in impossible times.
