The Odyssey
dir. Mario Bava, Franco Rossi, Piero Schivazappa · 1969
The journey of life is filled with challenges and obstacles that test our resolve and shape our identity as we seek to return to a place of belonging.
After years of war, Odysseus finds himself adrift, battling both external foes and the internal demons of his past. As he navigates treacherous waters and encounters mythical beings, the weight of his memories and the longing for home shape his journey. Watching this film is like stepping into a vivid tapestry of ancient myth, where every moment is steeped in the complexities of human experience.
Odysseus' journey told in Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. After fighting in the Trojan War, Odysseus spends years trying to return home to Itaka.
